I have
spent the last 11 years as a paramedic working for the NHS.
I have seen how vulnerable humans can be at times of great need
either medically or emotionally.
Animals are exactly the same but are not as able to express their
need for help as a human can so it is vitality important that
our senses detect pain and suffering.
What the
eye observes, the hand feels and the ear listens.
Human
complementary therapies have progressed dramatically over
the past decade proving successful in alleviating pain whether
it is physical or emotional, so why shouldn't animals benefit
too?
They are warm blooded, have the same biological systems as a human
with the exception of 4 legs and a tail! Or maybe not as some
of my clients as shown.
The faithful
old companion never stops dedicating his life to their owner,
which is why we should reward such loyalty in giving them the
very best care we can when they need it.
My life
would not be complete without my dogs. They are a part of
my everyday life.
My work as a therapist has humbled me to the wonderful relationship
that dogs give to their owners.
They never grumble or complain and commit themselves to their
duty to the end of their days.
I can
now give something back to them which is so rewarding to see
how massage therapy can enhance the quality of their lives and
their owners.
Statement
of Intent
I am dedicated to using my massage skills to help alleviate
physical and emotional pain, promoting health and well being to
my canine patients.
